The Queen City Sisterhood, Order of the Moist Brollie is a  Not for Profit Organization, Registered Society in the BC Registries (S0068281). We are the 3rd Fully Pressed House of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (SPI), an International Order of drag nuns which was established in 1978 in San Francisco.

The sisterhood exists to perpetuate the universal JOY! Whether it be raising awareness of current events or raising funds for local charities, the sisters are there to serve and to educate. We are nuns unbound by dogmatic rules, to provide services for

our community. When manifested in our characteristic white face, it is our duty to spread joy, expiate stigmatic guilt, and serve the community.

It is our belief that Victoria's vibrant spirit is best served when we all unite together. Drag, Burlesque, and LGBTQ+ artists alike contribute to our community's rich tapestry. The Queen City Sisterhood reminds us to support our community by remembering and reflecting on those who are no longer with us. We stand alongside those who are marginalized. We resist stigma at every turn through education, giving voice to those in need of one.

Let us inspire others who would later increase our number, and support those who would like to better our community and further their own JOY through nunly worksQueen City Sisterhood, The Order of the Moist Brollie is one dedicated to public service, education and community building. Through charitable acts and deliberate joy spreading, the Queen City Sisterhood in Victoria, BC raises awareness and funds for local organizations that are committed to safer sex education, gender equality, and serving the greater LGBTQ+ community.
